From 5^th to 8^th May 2025, the Nelson Mandela Hall was full of activity as Laikipia University took a decisive step towards institutional transformation. The Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) training, hosted by the ICT Department in partnership with the Ministry of Public Service and Human Capital Development, marked a critical milestone in our commitment to innovation, efficiency, and world-class service delivery.

On April 24^th and 25^th, 2025, officials from the Ministry of Education, State Department for Higher Education and Research, visited Laikipia University. They were received by the Acting Vice Chancellor, Prof. Patience Mshenga. The primary objectives of the visit were to:

The School of Humanities and Development Studies (SHDS) organized a Student Advising Forum for its students on March 4, 2025, at the Nelson Mandela Hall. The event, an initiative of Dr. Sheila Pamela Wandera-Simwa, the Academic Dean of SHDS, was well-attended by both staff and students. The forum was officially opened by Prof. John Kanjogu, the Acting Deputy Vice Chancellor for Academic, Research, and Student Affairs (DVC ARSA).
